The open kitchen concept invites you to witness the passion and precision of the chefs as they skillfully prepare each dish, adding an element of theater to your dining experience that makes every meal feel special.

The menu at Katsu is a delightful journey through Asian street food culture, offering a range of inventive starters and sushi rolls that capture the essence of fresh, vibrant ingredients. Begin your culinary adventure with the Veggie Crunch Mix, a tempura basket of crisp vegetables paired perfectly with tangy ponzu sauce, or try the indulgent Sushi Pizza de Atún—a crispy panko-crusted Japanese rice base topped with luscious red tuna, creamy avocado, wakame seaweed, potato threads, and drizzled with a rich dragon sauce. Each bite offers a harmonious play of textures and flavors, balancing umami, creaminess, and a slight crunch.

Sushi enthusiasts will be drawn to standout rolls like the Tuna Roll Apto Celiacos, which caters to gluten-free diners with an exquisite combination of red tuna, cream cheese, avocado, and a dazzling topping of wakame and red caviar. The Osaka Roll, featuring sautéed octopus glazed in teriyaki sauce with crunchy squid rings and silky cream cheese, boasts layered tastes that transport you straight to Japan’s bustling streets. For something heartier, Katsu’s burritos—such as the Fudo Burrito packed with sautéed octopus, teriyaki, cream cheese, and crunchy potato threads—offer a satisfying fusion of Asian flavors wrapped in a convenient, handheld format.

Customers frequently praise the food’s consistent excellence and generous portions. Regular visitor Pavel Mario Kautský highlights the "great poke," friendly and helpful staff capable of speaking English, and a welcoming patio space ideal for a relaxed meal. Other diners appreciate affordable options like the promotional sushi sets and burger alternatives for those with dietary restrictions. The thoughtfully curated menu and accommodating service create a warm, inviting environment that caters to locals and tourists alike.

Whether you’re craving the crisp textures of tempura, the fresh, clean flavors of sushi, or the vibrant twists found in their Asian burritos, Katsu delivers an immersive and satisfying dining experience. The poke served here is just great. Very nice bistro with patio. I visited Katsu several times and the food was perfect every time. The guys there can speak English and they are very helpful with helping with picking from the menu.

Cynthia was our waitress both times we had dinner. It was pleasant that she spoke English too. My wife loves the promo #4 sushi and her meal is under $10 US. I have an allergy to seafood but had a couple of burgers. Excellent place convenient for our vacation.

Went back the next day because we enjoyed the food so much and wanted to try more. We got the sushi, one of the burgers, and a yaki soba. Drinks were kind of expensive but the food was well priced and decent portions.

Katsu Asian Street Food restaurant is a hidden gem of Palermo. The first thing that catches your eye is the stylish, vibrant décor—colorful murals and neon light signs that give the space a lively yet calming and pleasantly quiet energy. One of the highlights is the open kitchen concept. Through a large glass window, guests can watch the chefs in action—focused, precise, and clearly passionate about their craft. Every dish I tried was full of flavor, clearly made with quality ingredients and attention to detail. A special mention goes to the staff, who were genuinely kind and attentive. I was served by a lovely girl named Fiorela, whose warmth and helpful attitude made the experience all the more enjoyable. Katsu is a place I’ll definitely return to. If you’re looking for great food, a peaceful vibe, and a beautifully designed space, this spot is well worth a visit.

Update! Came back to Katsu on a sunny Saturday and got one of their starter salads with salmon and trucha. It was delicious! With a little teriyaki sauce on the side. Chefs kiss. Katsu was delicious. There was no time for picture because I ate it so quickly. I got the katsu popcorn and ensalada dragon - both hit the spot. Ordered extra sauces for all, of course.

Katsu Asian Street Food absolutely impressed us from the moment we walked in. The service is superb — genuinely friendly, attentive, and willing to go above and beyond what the menu even promises. They also speak great English, which was a huge help in a place where Spanish is usually the only language. The food? Exceptionally tasty. We made the brave decision to try the Sushi Libre, and let’s just say… we conquered the first platter, but the second looked like a mountain way off in the distance. Generous portions, incredible quality, and honestly unbelievable pricing for what you get. The wasabi packs a REAL punch — none of that generic mild stuff — and I swear a little sashimi would’ve gone a long way in curing my long day. Still, the flavours, freshness, and overall vibe made the whole experience worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality Asian street food with great service and even better value. Will definitely be back!
